ENTER, Plot, Canon List, Face Claim
Once upon a time, really not too long ago, there was a child.
A very curious but also very foolish nine-year-old child.
He was born a muggle, and was in absolute love with cartoons, to the point of obsession. Hand-drawn animations with big blocky shapes and thick lines, and also bright, vibrant color palettes just caught his eye and held it. At first it was only movies, but then his mom and dad purchased a television service plan. Between films and not-just-Saturday morning cartoons, he watched so much light from the flickering screen of the TV in his house that it was a wonder his brain wasn't mush. And the more he saw these wonderful works of art, the more he wished they were real.
Well no one knew then, but at his birth, a pen in a grand old stone tower had scratched his name into a old bound book. And the day he turned eleven years old, a letter was written, addressed to him and his family. But this was no ordinary letter. His muggle parents thought it was a prank at first when it arrived at their step by owl, but they had to accept the truth when a staff member from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry showed up. After that, nothing would be the same. The boy was whisked away to a magical world, one he had never even dreamed existed except for in the fantastical tales the Tele at home spun for him.
He was still in love with those shows and movies and was very fluent in them. It made his teachers crazy when he tried replacing words in spells and charms with other ones he had heard in his beloved animations. Most of the charms he devised had no effect on space, time, or even anything tangible, but one day, there was something he said that set off a chain reaction.
Again, no one realized it, but his spells brought a whole other reality into existence, one where the people mirrored the characters in all his favorite animations. The traditions in this reality are much the same as in his, except that history did not go the same way. Harry Potter, who in the boy's reality was by now deceased and immortalized in tales, did not exist. Neither did his friends Ron Weasley, Hermione Grainger, Draco Malfoy, Albus Dumbledore... all who are hailed as heroes during the dark time of Voldemort's reign. He Who Should Not Be Named did not have a place in this timeline, either. Well then, you might ask, who will step up to take their place and shape this reality?
That, dear reader, is up to you.
