What's EXP?
EXP are experience points that you can use to manage your legion, and can use to donate to your legion to help upgrade it. EXP is earned by roleplaying and being active.
Ways to earn it OOC:
• You earn 10exp for every IC post you make.
• Posting in the MMAC grants you 40exp.
• If every member of a legion posts in the MMAC, their legion will gain 100exp as a bonus.
• Advertising this website (using our given advertisement) grants you 80exp for each site you post on.
Earning IC:
• When you win a battle, you take the losing legion's total pts, and divide it by 5. That's what you earn in exp.
• When you conquer territory, you will earn 10x the number of pentagons you take over
• If you look at the map, you'll see it is made up of pentagons that make up territories.
• When you form an allegiance, add the total its of all allying legions and divide it by 10. Each legion earns that amount of exp.
• When you form a confederacy, you follow the same steps above but divide by 6 instead.
Spending EXP:
If you click on "Manage Legion" in the navigation, you will be able to upgrade different factors of your legion such as your military, your resources, and can even buy your own roadways and waterways for international trade, or for interregional purposes. You may be utterly confused by the shop, and if you are, feel free to message me with questions and I will be glad to clarify.
You can also spend EXP on creating extra characters (300exp) and creating a legion (300exp). For these two options, you must go to the homesite. You cannot access the "manage legion" page if you are not a legion owner.
Donating EXP:
If you own an account for a character that does not own a legion, you may loyally donate your exp to your legion owner so they may put it towards the legion. To donate exp, simply hover over a character's profile image anywhere where it is displayed on the forum and select "send donation." Alternatively, you can go to a legion owner's profile and select "send donation" shown near the top of their profile. You may NOT donate exp to anyone except for legion owners!
To see if you have received any donations, click on the mail image in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Trading and Gifting:
You can trade or gift under any circumstances. Trading occurs between legions, so a legion member can only trade with another legion member. For example, say, IC, a legion with low livestock rpts and high crop rpts, and neighbor legion has high livestock rpts but low crop rpts. The legions can trade their resources to benefit each other. You can trade weapons as well.
When you create a legion, you will be gifted your resources so they may be displayed on your profile. You can gift other legions items such as resources, military recruits, and weapons. An example might be if a legion (legion 1), IC, is demanding weapons from another legion (legion 2). If legion 2 is inferior or afraid of legion 1, or has been conquered and is required by a conquest agreement to do so, legion 2 may have to give up some resources. To make this transaction real, the owner of legion 2 must go to the owner of legion 1's profile, and click on "gift/trade" near the top of their profile. They will click the item they are giving, and click send. Legion 1 will check their gift requests and accept the payment.
To view your gift/trade requests, click on the green button on the bottom right corner of the screen.
